We prefer traditional masonry building materials and techniques over cheaper and quicker timber frame construction. The hand picked bricks and stone we use, result in stronger and long lasting homes – that stay looking good too.

Traditional roofing materials

We only use top quality natural slate and clay tiles for all of our homes. The tiles won’t rot and they are resistant to fire and insect damage, plus they stand up to heavy rains, freeze/thaw cycles and other extreme weather – lasting for many decades, much longer than many other roofing materials.
